HISTORY of the association

March 8, 1976 - A community meeting was held at Dunlop Public School to form a South Keys Recreation Association. At this time Greenboro had not been developed.

January 23, 1980 - The province of Ontario granted the South Keys Community and School Association status as a corporation. Dunlop Public School was the only public building in South Keys and it was the location of most activities.

November 1, 1984 - The Province of Ontario approved a name change to South Keys/Greenboro Community and School Association. This recognized Greenboro as a developing part of the community.

February 21, 2017 - The Province of Ontario approved a name change to South Keys Greenboro Community Association. This reflected the absence of any remaining formal link with Dunlop Public School.
