About Us

The community is bounded by Conroy Road to the East, Hunt Club Road to the South, and the railway tracks to the North and West, and includes some adjacent areas on Johnston Road and Hunt Club Road. It also includes housing directly accessing Johnston Road from the North and housing directly accessing Hunt Club Road to the South.

A community that all residents are pleased to call home. 

• Engaging with residents, business and local government to serve the interests of all residents.
• Acting as a local source of information for residents.
• Providing community programs that complement those available from other local organizations.
• Staging a variety of events as a way of bringing residents together.
• Seeking ways to extend engagement with all the diverse groups within the community to support the ongoing development of relevant programs and events.

The SKGCA is a not-for profit corporation registered since 1980 in Ontario.

The Volunteer Board of Directors, elected annually by the members of the community at the Annual General Meeting, meet monthly to manage the affairs of the SKGCA.

The activites of the SKGCA include community level Programs, Events, and Civic Affairs.

The SKGCA has renewable contracts with the City of Ottawa for:

• Community Programming
• Operating of Pushman Park Rink

We collect registration fees for some programs. We are also lucky enough to have local sponsors that help us with the cost of running programs and events.
